For my experimentations I collected some of the waste I was able to find and document it. I wanted to try out different settings in order to decide which fits best. I used a light-box in hopes of having a brighter theme and then used a black velvet sheet in order to get the darker background.
At first I preferred the darker background as I thought that it would be a good contrast between the black sheet and the colourful objects however after a few attempts I realised the lighter background fits quite nicely, giving the item a good amount of lighting.
Mu first initial thought was to focus on plastic waste as it is extremely common to find plastic: bottles, packets, wrappers, etc, so I wanted my main focus to be on that. However, I then decided to focus on littering as a whole, especially as I know it is so easy to come across waste; in the streets, on the beach, etc.
