Throughout our previous units I had found it somewhat difficult to find motivation and therefore my time management wasn’t at it’s best, usually leading to the quality of my work suffering – even just ever so slightly. But, I made a note to myself to work as hard as I possibly could for this project.

I made sure to improve my time management – by planning way ahead. Before we even started Unit 13, I ensured that I knew one hundred percent what I wanted to do and that I would not at any point change my mind.
As per usual, my subject of choice was nature/animals as I know it is easily something that I am immensely passionate for. It also became somewhat apparent of what I wanted to do when I cam across Mani who is renown for his clever use of photoshop – even better, it was large animals.
I quickly started to delve into research and got posts ready to upload before we had officially started Unit 13. I then ensured that I did experimentations to go alongside those research posts; I came across Jason McGroarty who didn’t do the whole giant animal theme that I wanted however, he did photoshop animals into environments that they weren’t usually found in. I also did experimentations in the style of Luisa Azevedo which I wasn’t fond of the results.
Overall I would say that I am at a Merit level. I am extremely pleased with my results and the progress leading up to said results – I am also pleased at the fact I was still able to get everything finalised before the lockdown as it made things a bit harder.
